In 2021/2022 Hannah De Corte, PhD in Art and Arts Sciences (ULB), was granted a postdoctoral fellowship to undertake a research project entitled “Emergent Images. Technical and Aesthetic Role of Canvas in ‘Impressionist’ Paintings, with a Particular Focus on Ashmolean Museum’s Collection”, under the supervision of Prof. Ian Kiaer (Ruskin School of Art, University of Oxford).
