Starting from the 2027-2028 academic year, the Fondation Wiener-Anspach will offer a new postdoctoral fellowship scheme, in line with its objective of promoting and strengthening the ties between the Université libre de Bruxelles and the Universities of Cambridge and Oxford. The fellowships will be open to researchers in all fields who hold a Doctorate from the ULB and do not have a permanent position.
The fellowship will be built around a collaborative research project between the ULB and the University of Cambridge or Oxford. Selected fellows will spend an initial two-year period at the University of Cambridge or Oxford, followed by a third year at the Université libre de Bruxelles. The application must be developed and supported by a promoter at each partner institution.
Fellows will be selected by the Scientific Committee of the Foundation.
The call for application for the period 2027-2030 will be launched in December 2026.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To be eligible, applicants will have to have fully completed all requirements for a PhD from the Université libre de Bruxelles no later than 31 March 2027 and not before 1 October 2023.
