On Friday 15 March, the Institute for European Studies will host a discussion on the «Judicial Review in CFSP: Developments, Potential and Limits », co-organised and moderated by our Alumna Daphne Yovanof (University of Oxford) and Areg Navasartian (Université libre de Bruxelles). The discussants – Dr. Antonios Antoniadis (Legal service of the Council of the European Union), Advocate general Tamara Capeta (Court of Justice of the European Union) and Prof. Peter Van Elsuwege (Ghent University) – will analyse the intricate dynamics of judicial review in the Common Foreign and Security Policy.

Daphne, a DPhil Candidate in Law at the University of Oxford, was granted in 2022-2023 a Wiener-Anspach Doctoral Fellowship at ULB, where she worked with Professor Chloé Brière on a project titled “The extraterritorial application of EU law: Judicial unilateralism in the case of EU competition and data”.

To attend the discussion on March 15, which will be followed by a cocktail, please register here.
