On Wednesday 22 September Paul Lane (Jennifer Ward Oppenheimer Professor, Deep History & Archaeology of Africa, University of Cambridge) will open the 2021/2022 seminar of the CReA-Patrimoine with a lecture entitled “Archaeology, the forging of identity, and the birth of the post-colonial state in sub-Saharan Africa”. The lecture, organised with the support of the Wiener-Anspach Foundation, will take place at the Université libre de Bruxelles (room  UB2.147) from 6pm to 8pm.
