Oxford lecture 2008 – 2009

Professor Athéna Tsingarida, lecturer at the ULB in Classical Archaeology and Ancient Greek Art, delivered the first Philippe Wiener lecture at the University of Oxford on the subject “A path to Modernity: the discovery of archaic Greek art”, on June 2, 2009 at the Ioannou Centre for Classical and Byzantine Studies. She was welcomed by Professor Donna Kurtz.
