Cambridge lecture 2009 – 2010
On the occasion of the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Cambridge and the Université libre de Bruxelles, Professor Pierre de Maret, former Rector of the ULB and Professor of Anthropology, delivered the first Philippe Wiener lecture in Cambridge on the subject “The God Seth: Egyptian chimera or African animal”, on November 25, 2009 at the McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research. He was invited by the Director of the institute, Professor Graeme Barker.
