Chair 2000 – 2001
In 2000-2001 the chair was held by Richard Fentiman, Reader in Private International Law at the University of Cambridge, on the recommendation of Professor Nadine Watté and Dr Arnaud Nuyts of the Centre de Droit International Privé at the ULB.
The subject of the course was: “Problems in European Private International Law: an English Perspective”. The opening lecture, delivered on February 6, 2001, was entitled Globalisation and Private International Law.
