Chair 2007 – 2008

In 2007-2008 the chair was held by Paul Collier, Professor of Economics and Director of the Centre for the Study of African Economies at Oxford Univeristy, on the recommendation of Professor Patrick Legros, Director of the Economic Section of the Institute for European Studies.

The subject of the course was “Democracy, Development and Violence”. The opening lecture was delivered on November 6, 2007 at the Fondation Universitaire.
