Chair 2012 – 2013

In 2012/2013 the Ganshof van der Meersch Chair was held by Kevin O’Rourke, Professor of Economic History at All Souls College, Oxford, on the recommendation of Professor Paola Conconi, Head of the European Economic Section of the Institute for European Studies.

The opening lecture, entitled “Why flexibility matters: some historical lessons for Europe”, was delivered on February 19, 2013. The other lectures were scheduled as follows:
