The Foundation can help cover travel and accommodation expenses for PhD students, researchers and academics from ULB, Cambridge and Oxford who wish to conduct research for a limited period of time at one of the partner universities. The stay is limited to one Term (two months).
Applicants may submit only one request per calendar year.
The complete application must include the following seven documents (to be merged into one single PDF):
- A motivation letter, clearly explaining the purpose of your research stay
- An official invitation from the host department at the ULB or in Oxbridge
- A detailed letter from the academic who will host you at the ULB or in Oxbridge
- A reference letter from your thesis supervisor
- A letter from your home department authorising the leave of absence
- The estimated budget (please specify if you have submitted funding requests to other organizations)
- Your CV
At the end of the stay, recipients have to submit a report, along with the supporting documents required for reimbursement. The report could be published on the website of the Foundation.
