Chair 2011 – 2012

In 2011-2012 the Chair Ganshof van der Meersch was held by Avi Shlaïm, Emeritus Professor of International Relations, University of Oxford, on the recommendation of Dr Jihane Sfeir from the History Section of the Institute for European Studies.

The subject of the course was “Europe and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict”. The opening lecture was delivered on March 12, 2012. The other lectures were scheduled as follows:
