Chaire 2005 – 2006

En 2005/2006, la chaire a été attribuée au docteur Martin Conway, Fellow and Tutor in Modern History, Balliol College and CUF Lecturer, Faculty of Modern History à l’Université d’Oxford, sur proposition du Professeur Pieter Lagrou, Directeur de la section histoire à l’Institut d’Études européennes.

Le sujet de la Chaire était « Europe’s Democratic Age 1945-73: An exploration of a world that has disappeared ». La leçon inaugurale donnée le 6 mars 2006 avait pour sujet: « Western Europe’s Democratic Age 1945 – 1973: The Strange Case of Belgium »
