Deux lauréats de la Fondation Wiener-Anspach, les chercheurs David Bauman et Guillaume Delaye, travaillent actuellement ensemble à Oxford, auprès du Prof. Yadvinder Malhi (School of Geography and the Environment). Dans le cadre de leur bourse postdoctorale, ils ont publié avec d’autres collègues un article intitulé “Interspecific trait integration increases with environmental harshness: A case study along a metal toxicity gradient”. David Bauman a récemment publié deux autres articles:
“Tree growth, recruitment, and survival in a tropical dry woodland: the importance of soil and functional identity of the neighbourhoodt” (Forest Ecology and Management, 15 mars 2020, disponible ici).
“Past human disturbances and soil fertility both influence the distribution of light-demanding tree species in a Central African tropical forest” (Journal of Vegetation Science, 28 janvier 2020, disponible ici).
David Bauman poursuit à Oxford une deuxième année de recherches sur le thème “Influence des contraintes climatiques et de sol sur les mécanismes de structuration de la métacommunauté des arbres tropicaux – approche fonctionnelle et multi-échelle”, tandis que Guillaume Delaye a obtenu une bourse pour entreprendre des recherches sur le thème “Les déterminants de l’abondance des espèces dans les communautés : importance de la distribution et de la covariation intraspécifique des traits”.
